Porcelain souvenir stein

I know you probably get thousands of emails asking for help, I am only asking for knowledge.
I have a few pictures of a porcelain souvenir stein I have. I suspect it is from the 1899 to 1909 time frame.
What I am trying determine is what the engraved initials are and who might have produced the stein.
I purchased it at an antique store in Nacogdoches, TX. Paid about $24 for it. It seemed a reasonable price for something around a hundred years old. As parts of Texas were settled by Germans I'd like to think it came over with immigrants/settlers around the early 1900's. And was passed down through family until it was sold to me. But it may have also come back from Germany by a solider who collected it and made it's way to that particular store.
It may be just simple souvenir stein, one of many produced during that time frame, but for it to survive in such good shape for that long is pretty cool to me. If you happen to make out the initials on the lid or know the model number of the stein it would be great to know.
Thank you for your website I use it almost religiously.
With warmest regards, E.M.
